OUR BOARD MEMBERS ARE COMMITTED TO HELPING COMMUNITY MEMBERS THRIVE.
Members can serve up to four three-year terms, and each one is a volunteer. Just like you, they’re community members. They’re committed to improving the lives of people throughout Alaska.
Board Officers
They set the compass for our direction and focus. Their terms are one year, and they can serve two terms consecutively. To be an elected official, they must first become a member of our board of directors, which often occurs as the result of a nomination.

Other Members
People who serve on our board of directors are independent, voting members. If they have an asterisk (*) by their name, they’re serving as an ex officio member, which means they’re sitting on our board but not currently voting.
