We improve our community by collaborating and partnering.

Alaskans deserve to achieve their potential. When people work together, opportunities develop. We focus our impact on three areas: financial security, a healthy community, and youth opportunity. Our program Alaska 211 supports them all—including community resiliency.

United Way doesn't just fund work: We connect it, accelerate it, and make it last.

Vibrant, Diverse Partnerships

We convene community members to address common goals. When we combine efforts, every Alaskan can thrive. Our community members’ commitment, engagement, and coordination strengthen our communities.

Partner Investments

We offer grants to Anchorage-area nonprofits that do work related to our impact areas. They help our community create lasting change. Our low-barrier funds and donor designations are a true investment in Alaskans.

Alaska 211

Alaskans everywhere need help from time to time. To connect them with food, shelter, services, programs, assistance, healthcare, childcare, transportation, and much more, we run Alaska 211—our one-stop helpline.
