Being out and about around town to interact with community members is a defining feature of United Way of Anchorage. If you attend Arctic Thunder Open House, please stop by our table. We want to meet or catch up with you. We’ll help you find ways to support current issues, sign up to volunteer, or access helpful resources and services.

Event Details

Across the U.S., people are celebrating America’s 250th—and, of course, United Way is too! JBER’s much-anticipated event is free to the public and showcases world-class aerial acrobatics and military demonstrations. As you stroll around, you’ll find organizations like ours sharing information about the work that we do to help Alaskans thrive.

Important Service

Arctic Thunder notes that JBER holds this event in “the spirit of military service” to give back to our local community. Not only does United Way honor service members and veterans, but we also strive to give back to our community. Join us as we celebrate our country, honor military personnel, and provide opportunities to help more Alaskans achieve their potential.
