That’s why we bring a comprehensive approach to every challenge, working across systems and alongside partners to support people in practical, lasting ways.

Our programs are rooted in the belief that everyone should have the opportunity to live a healthy, stable, and hopeful life. People must be able to find safe housing, access health care, support children’s success, build financial stability, and connect to critical services. Program Operations
United Way’s work relies on strategic community partnerships, and that approach applies to our programs too. We coordinate with many organizations and people to improve lives across Alaska. They include nonprofits, government agencies, health care clinics and providers, landlords, and school districts—among others.
