United Way of Anchorage's Alaska 211 connects people with resources and services that meet their basic needs, help them recover from disasters, and address most anything else. We're grateful to our funders, provider partners, and organizational leadership for continued commitment--and most especially to United Way's community resource specialists!

Nationally, 211s promote February 11 to bring awareness to their assistance providing resources and services to people who face challenges. United Way asks you to join us in celebrating 211. This program serves people throughout Alaska and ensures that everyone has connections to assistance that help them thrive.

In 2025, 211 provided 46,018 connections to resources and services to people in Alaska communities seeking assistance. Since launching in 2007, United Way's program has provided Alaskans with 618,000 connections to help.
