Alaska 211 refers Alaskans to resources and services, no matter the situations they face. During the 2025 government shutdown, we want furloughed federal workers to know that they can reach out for help. Alaska News Source featured Alaska 211 and our President and CEO, Eric Utraq Billingsley, in its evening news.

Our community resource specialists, who work in our Alaska 211 call center, provide confidential, safe spaces and offer assistance at no-cost. You can reach them by dialing 2-1-1 or (800) 478-2221 Monday through Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. In addition to calling, Alaskans can also search our online database at Alaska211.org and email Alaska211@ak.org.

"You're not in this alone, and we have resources to help you," said Eric. "Just dial 2-1-1."
